I am a proud citizen who pays my fair share of taxes and with the hard earned money I save, I try to invest in a "free" and "fair" market to better my family.
Unfortunately, I have come to a realization that our markets are not as free as we think and certain players are allowed to manipulate markets with a competitive edge that an individual investor like myself cannot.
Using perpetual contracts has been an issue that was brought to light recently to me as I discovered certain financial companies using these instruments to delay certain settlements which decouples true market values for investments. The simple supply and demand economics we learn in school no longer apply and the manipulation incentive from financial companies hinders our freedom to invest confidently.
Please look into restoring financial order for individual investors who do not have a loud voice in these matters.
