Dear Chairman and Commissioners,
Ive had a frustrating experience that shows why regulation matters. I put money into a contract on Kalshi related to an Iran strike, and after the event, they retroactively rescinded the outcome. Im still owed over $1,000 from that, and its left a bad taste in my mouth. The contract terms were unclear, and the metrics they used to decide the outcome werent fully disclosed upfront. This kind of thing cant keep happening. People like me need to trust these platforms, and that means rules to ensure transparency and accountability.
I urge you to support fair regulation of prediction markets. Make the rules clear, hold platforms accountable, and let regular people continue to use these tools.
