Prediction markets should be regulated heavily, if not entirely banned. Prediction markets are nothing but online casinos. Anyone who says these sites aren't gambling is lying, poorly. I have used Kalshi for betting on sports and for watching the hilariously obvious insider trades. I personally watched thousands of dollars BET on things Donald Trump was going to say in a speech minutes before the speech, and coincidentally the things that were all of a sudden "predicted" to be said were said. The ease at which these sites can be exploited for corruption on the highest level of government leads me to believe that is desired outcome not a flaw. When you consider who has money invested in the company it becomes clear that these sites are nothing but a means of stealing money from the unwitting and putting into the hands of friends of the owners.
This level of corruption would be laughed at by any third world country. It can not be tolerated in any country that wants to be respected by the rest of the world.
