Maybe we shouldn’t let our economy be hijacked by these awful predictions markets that incentivize rooting for negative outcomes and are rife with insider trading/conflict of interests with seemingly no oversight or consequences. Also the way the system works only benefits people with a lot of money to sway the outcome and public opinion on an event. “Predication” markets are the final death knell in the degeneration of our society and is a clear indicator of our political system abandoning us for (even more) monetary incentives. Literal dystopian stuff
