I am deeply concerned that this unregulated, non-age restricted, industry that functions off of the same risk reward principles of gambling will have increasingly deleterious outcomes on the stability of the country and the health of its citizens. I preys on the desperate and quite blatantly accepts manipulators of their markets as somehow benefiting our ability to predict the future. While allowing people to profit off of war, death, and suffering; with no restrictions preventing those responsible for acts of malice and unrepentant cruelty from betting and then profiting off their own actions. Allowing these markets to continue will be to financially incentivize humans to follow their worst, most self-destructive instincts.
