Prediction markets are a predatory form of gambling, and their large scale use on events like elections, wars, natural disasters, and other devasting events incentivizes people in power to enable these in order to make money.
I know the CFTC is under the Trump Administration and many of the head people have no issue with greedy pedophilic rapists and slimy con men running the government with no consequences, but keep in mind that allowing this machine to grow will one day end with your job and money on the line and you will be just as quickly discarded if you don't stand up now to this abhorrent business practice.
