prediction markets are casinos where the games are rigged and you CAN'T walk out of them. The dangers of gambling addiction are well-known and there is no way to put effective guardrails, in these, making them accessible to addicts and children regardless of local gambling laws.
Assuming that the CFTC exists to protect the public from predatory and unethical use of gaming in the markets, the only reasonable act is to make these apps illegal, or at least subject to the same laws as other gambling venues.
