The Prediction Market is just fixed gambling. You are offered a chance to 'play the odds' but the odds are fixed by those with the most money. I am also horrified that these markets seem to be nothing more than ungoverned insider trading. It's a way for those with an insane amount of money to make more while selling a lie that anyone else has a chance to change their fortunes. I cannot believe that anyone thinks this is beneficial to humanity.
