Polymarket, Kalshi, and other organizations claiming to be predictive markets claiming to be trading in futures are only using said definition to excuse themselves from government regulation of what is clearly and unarguably gambling. These companies are exploiting the American government's hesitancy to act in order to perpetuate the largest illegal betting empire in history, openly rigging and encouraging the rigging of their own 'markets' for their own profits and refusing to pay the appropriate taxes on such ill gotten gains or follow any of the guidelines required of every other gambling organization. The CFTC should immediately and retroactively impose the proper laws on these entities AND the punishments associated with their innumerable blatant infractions of said laws.
