These kinds of gambling sites and exchanges are absolutely horrible. These absolute constitute as gambling and are somehow not labeled as such to skirt laws in numerous states. These markets need to be redefined properly as gambling to, at the very least, submit themselves to proper regulation.
This is yet still not enough. The concept as a whole should be shut down. Numerous people with insider knowledge can easily commit insider trading through this system and have done so already. We cannot make every aspect of our life something that can be bet upon as it will just incentivize more abuse and exploitation of systems that already leave people disadvantaged to this day.
