Gambling has already been proven to be extremely addictive, harmful, and an indicator for future criminal behavior. Bringing it to a platform the not only encourages that behavior and extends it's reach to younger and younger individuals is unethical and rightfully illegal.
This version of gambling is especially insidious as it reinforces twisted versions of itself like insider trading and market manipulation, which are furthering the wealth divide and ruining lives of the average citizen.
Lastly, pushing this game mentality is going the same way as pushing the binge watching of early Netflix days. The endless distraction and feeding into a lowered attention span is ruinous to the American populations psychological wellbeing.
