Gambling is an addiction.
Much like alcohol, or drugs, our own brains reward us for constantly feeding this addiction. With services like Kalshi and Polymarket, they intend to turn our lives into a casino where this addiction can spread. They need strict rules where they cannot play both sides of their own game. Despite the avarice of the administration, this abhorrent greed should not and will not last. The future of decency is at stake and not implementing heavy regulations on prop bets will take society to the very rock bottom of late-stage capitalism.
