I don't think I need to tell you why unregulated gambling (which is what prediction markets are, let's not dance around it) is a bad thing, especially in a new platform where insider trading is not just possible, but very easy to do. Everything about allowing this to flourish is detrimental to American society, slowly conditioning us to cheer for bad things happening because we made money off it until eventually everybody is just rooting for terrible things to happen, like The Running Man. Do you WANT to live in a world with The Running Man? I sure as heck don't. I don't know who I'm speaking to, all I know is this is where I know to write a genuine complaint and take some form of direct action. This prediction market nonsense is turning our world into a casino, and you don't even get a free drink while they take your money! So please, do your jobs, and prevent this from becoming a real problem that we can't come back from. Children are gambling on these sites, because nobody is checking to make sure that they're not. I'd say follow your conscience, but that doesn't seem to be a guarantee of good things anymore. So for the love of whatever god you believe in, please just don't let this go any farther than it needs to.
