I oppose this because it offers no benefits only the clear harmful consequences of gambling, I dont believe in magic the cost are clear; real damage caused by systems that place money at the center. Rather than reflecting the will of the people, it prioritizes dollars, distorting the democratic process. The result is a system where the value of a vote is determined by how much money someone can spend, opening the door to manipulation and the potential for corruption.
Rather than preventing negative outcomes, this system actively enables them. We've already seen the imoral & or shameful externalities that arise when people are incentivized to act unethically or cast votes that serve specific interests over the common good. Instead of solving problems, it perpetuates harm encouraging violence, division, and the continued exploitation of vulnerable peoples.
Rather than fostering fairness or real representation, this system rewards actions that profit from others' suffering. This isn't a path to progress; it's a blueprint for continuing a cycle of destruction and inequality."
