Prediction markets are just gambling and we should regulate it it gambling. Pretending it's anything other than that is dishonest and honestly just solidifies my opinion that they exist purely to make the people in charge and the wealthiest elites even more money. How the CFTC had handled them so far is actually laughable and they should start using my tax dollars to actually make sure crimes and corruption aren't happening instead of lining their own pockets.
