Prediction markets are gambling pure and simple. They should be regulated at least and banned entirely at most. By enabling people to bet on world events it not only incentivizes people to put money down on the world's downward spiral but also allows powerful people to manipulate said markets for their own gain. We are allowing corporations to get away with pure evil right in front of us and the people of tomorrow will not look kindly on the decisions we make today.
