As a US citizen living abroad, I am aghast that we have allowed a degenerate, dangerous, exploitative and predatory industry to arise.
Prediction markets are not merely gambling, but an opportunity for industry insiders and influencers to exploit the desperate. No country pretending at self-respect would ever allow businesses like this to operate, and it rattles me to my core that my tax dollars go to a government that gleefully embraces this filth.
Do your jobs. Ban this practice immediately.
