Please regulate the heck out of prediction markets. Personally, I'd be fine with them being fully banned. They're fully unrestricted gambling, and they hurt everyone. From the people participating who could lose everything to a gambling addiction they might not otherwise have developed to the people making major decisions who are now tailoring their actions to the markets instead of acting according to their own goals and conscience, to the people whose lives are affected by those decisions. Betting on a bombing keeps you from fighting to stop the bombing. The more money you spend, the more "voice" you have in these setups, so even if you think it reflects what people want (instead of what they think is likely, which is something else entirely) then it's reflecting what the richest people want, and the most reckless people. That's no way to see the world. That's not good for anyone except the prediction market companies getting rich off of worsening society.
