Prediction markets are blatantly a scam so that very wealthy people can manipulate markets to funnel money into their own pockets. They claim to not be gambling, even though they obviously are. Not only are they gambling, but it's gambling where the house is allowed to play and manipulate the outcomes, and some of the players know what cards are being dealt. It's is blatantly corrupt and should be banned entirely. There is no place in our society for markets like this to exist.
