Hello,
I am a concerned citizen, and I am writing based on the increasing prevalence of prediction markets, I believe these organizations, most prominently Kalshi and Polymarket, are more than gambling, they are intentionally rigged systems where wealthy individuals can manipulate outcomes at every level, from the odds, to the outcomes, to even whether the specified event happened or not. They are not "Futures contracts" they are a casino that is rigged at every level to drain money from the desperate. In a time of economic hardship, it is utterly irresponsible to let these companies, both of which are headquartered in the United States, to continue to operate at all. I urge the CFTC to ban these companies and the entire industry of Prediction markets, as they fundamentally serve to deceive their users and make the whole of the world a worse place. The world is a place to exist within, not gamble on.
