    Good afternoon,

I believe that these so called "predictive markets" are just one more way large business and financial interests are using to bleed money from ordinary citizens, through gambling-like business practices. The fact that I can put money on the outcome of something as horrendous as war and the deaths of my fellow human beings is horrifying to any reasonable individual. Whatever excuse these companies give to justify their markets are complete and utter trash. Prediction markets aren't better than polling, unless you want to see where people are willing to risk money. They aren't helping get accurate news out to people. In fact, inaccurate information probably helps the market more than accurate reporting.

To put it simply, if every aspect of our lives can have money bet on it, then how are we truly living. Will all our decisions be based around how we can manipulate odds to our end? I urge you to seriously consider what actual good any of these ridiculous and predatory markets can do. In my opinion, they do none.
