Prediction markets are gambling. On that score, they should be banned. But even as gambling, they are terrible. The prediction contracts these companies allow are vague enough that people are fighting over whether or not a drone hit Tel Aviv by a certain date. Nobody goes to Vegas and argues whether or not they hit 21 in Blackjack.
It is absolutely disgusting that people can make money betting on war and death. It speaks to the moral depravity of America that they are not banned and the companies that do this prosecuted.
We must ban them for the future of the country, and the world.
