Prediction markets are bad for society and should be heavily regulated. It's insane to let people gamble on things that they can influence the outcome of and even more insane to let people gamble on things they can control the prediction of. It erodes empathy and encourages people to profit off of atrocities (and thus encouraging atrocities).
Prediction markets should be banned and failing that, they should be regulated like any other casino.
