    Prediction markets, as they stand right now, are very clearly unregulated gambling where insiders can easily rig the results. Allowing this to continue is nonsensical. Regulation is a necessity in all markets, even for societies which try to seek free markets as much as possible - otherwise entrenched parties will eliminate competition.
    Failure to establish rules that prevent and sufficiently enforce insider gambling, market manipulation, and betting on deaths, will destroy trust in the market and potentially destabilize the economy.
