To whom it may concern,
Prediction markets have grown to undermine every credibility naively assigned by this Administration, and the very institutions established to guard against the unwarranted and pervasive influences of corruption in spheres both domestic and abroad. The question remains: will you uphold your duty to ensure that *justice* prevails; or will you abdicate all semblance of stewardship to masters other than every American (by whose consent you derive any authority)?
Dressing up old crimes in new disguises confers plausible deniability only to and for the ethically and intellectually bereft. Nonetheless, crimes they remain, and ignorance and abeyance of the law--deliberate and otherwise--is neither unnoticed, nor forgotten. All who deign to accept bargains with pirates and thieves tread in precarious waters, believing they either have control or immunity from consequence. Take heed, therefore, when the obvious criminals come soliciting permission for obvious crime, that you do not grant it--lest justice return to find you an accomplice.
