We have already seen the dangers of legalized sports betting, which has become a kind of pandemic that cheapens the spor t and in some cases has led professional athletes to cheat in order to make a killing for them selves or their friends. The dangers of the prediction market are even more "predictable" (pun intended). The temptation to use insider knowledge of events such as military attacks and wars to win vast sums of money are clear. Even prohibiting elected officials from engaging in this form of betting would likely NOT prevent them from passing on said insider info to friends, or even criminals so as to share in their winnings. Please make all such betting illegal as soon as possible.
