Prediction markets should be banned. They offer events that can be exploited anonymously by those with inside knowledge. They can be manipulated by the daily news cycle and by swings in the betting market odds. There is no transparency into who bets and who profits. They are yet another temptation for addicted gamblers.
I see no upside. Shut them down..
