I am writing to urge the Commission to take strong regulatory action regarding event contract derivatives traded on prediction markets. Allowing gambling on events like wars, policy decisions, or assassinations is an unacceptable risk for insider bets or for organized crime to actually have public officials such as the president assassinated or to bribe politicians to influence decisions. It is sick, wrong, and un-American. You have the regulatory authority to stop it and must for the good of the nation. Please do so. Thank you.
