The phrase “prediction markets” is quite clearly a euphemism for gambling and effectively is as well; for me. the people who organize these markets are like drug pushers. They are getting people addicted to gambling and the under informed and easily tempted I predicted upon by owners and marketers of predictive markets. This is happening all around the world, and it is definitely a predatory practice and should be heavily regulated if not simply completely outlawed at all you can also interfere with journalist, reporting the news as it already happened in Israel this past week as well as influencing those who create government policy.
